2026 AVIATION MERIT BADGE

When: Saturday, May 16, 2025

Time: 8am to 4:30pm

Where: Fairbanks Aviation Day, UAF CTC Hangar & East Ramp– Fairbanks
International Airport

Note: This is a one-day merit badge program for active Scouts. Pre-Registration is
required, and space is limited. Scouts will not be put onto the list until a release
form for the flight is on file. Sign up at the Scout Office before May 4, 2026.

􀁸 Scouts must be in uniform
􀁸 Bring a sack lunch
􀁸 Scouts may need to complete certain MB requirements before attending. Parents will be emailed these requirements on May 5, 2026

Activity Consent form is required.

Consent Form must be brought to the Midnight Sun Council  office BEFORE (TBA-download below).

Weight of Scout (for flight planning purposes) must be submitted to Midnight Sun Council office by (TBA).

Scout must bring Aviation Worksheet (download below) and Scout Must read Aviation Merit Badge Pamphlet prior to attendance.
