Spring Camporee
2026 SPRING CAMPOREE
Jodi Tanski and Venturers from Crew 1000 organized a memorable camporee!
Scouts embraced the spirit of the Highlands during our MSC Spring Camporee: Scottish Highland Games! Throughout the weekend, clans competed in Highland-inspired challenges that tested teamwork, Scout skills, strength, and spirit — from log drags and ladder lashings to tomahawk throwing and welly tossing.
A special thank you to Karl and Aislinn Olson for sharing their time, talents, and demonstrations with our Scouts. Their passion and knowledge helped bring the traditions and culture of the Scottish Highlands to life and made the event even more memorable for everyone involved.
Thank you to all the leaders, volunteers, and Scouts who made this incredible weekend such a success!

Spring Camporee 2022 “Back to Basic”
We held our 2021 “Eye on Conservation” Spring Camporee at Lost Lake Scout Camp May 21-23! Our Scouts participated in conservation projects and could choose from 3 Environmentally themed Merit Badges. Special thanks to Troop 1001 and Grace Edwards for leading the planning efforts for a great Camporee!

Patches and Flaps
The Midnight Sun Council is proud to announce our patches and flaps!
Any Patch Shipment orders have to be made no later than Thursday by close of business!
Patch shipments are completed on Fridays at 9 am.
Introducing our NEW EAGLE Patch!
This patch is only for those who have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, youth or adult.
Cost is $10per patch and can only be purchased through our Scout Shop.

Resource Stewardship Badges for Scouts
The National Park Service tells how to earn this patch:
Scouts can participate in the Resource Stewardship Scout Ranger Program through a troop, event, travel, or camp experience, and will be awarded a program certificate and/or patch upon completion.
To earn a Scout Ranger certificate, Scouts should participate in organized education activities and/or volunteer service projects for a minimum of five (5) hours at one or more national parks.
To earn a Scout Ranger patch, Scouts should participate in organized educational activities or volunteer service projects for a minimum of ten (10) hours at one or more national parks.
Please keep track of your time using the Activity Tracker Log Sheet and turn it to a Park Ranger to receive your certificate and/or patch.
